Three different women are thinking of you today. The first gave you life and made one of the hardest decisions she would ever have to. She chose to give you a better life than what she could provide knowing it meant she would not get to see who you would grow up to be, to experience the joy of your smile, to hear your giggles or feel your soft brown skin as you snuggle close.
Three different women are thinking of you today. The second took care of you for your first eleven months in this world. She chose the difficult task of caring for a newborn and loving you like her own even though she knew it would only be temporary.
Three different women are thinking of you today. The third simply chose you. She didn't have to but she wanted to. She is priveleged to watch you grow and discover each day. She gets to caress your head and kiss your cheeks every day. She gets to hold you close and comfort you. She gets to hear you say, Mommy.
Happy 3rd Birthday my sweet boy! You are loved the world over.

Tears are flowing Traci, beautiful tribute to the amazing women that had a hand in the life of this amazing boy! Happy Birthday Kenan!!!
happy (belated) birthday, kenan! i miss seeing his sweet face on sunday mornings!
traci--we had an absolute blast in charleston. as far as restaurants go, we loved peninsula grill (but it's pretty expensive...don't know if you're taking the kiddos or not) but kid friendly places...we love hymans, kaminsky's, and cupcake. cupcake has the best cupcakes...they're on king street. i know my in-laws really love blossom (i think it's on east bay street). joel and i liked magnolias (it's near blossom on east bay...owned by the same company). we also had an incredible brunch at high cotton on sunday. hope that helps. as far as fun things to do, we both love doing the carraige rides and just walking around the city exploring. i've never done any of the plantation tours. we both also like the aquarium and that may be something your kids would love.
have fun! :)
