The Big 15!

I woke up after a late night of rehearsal, eating, spending time with friends and family, washing my hair, and talking to my mom.  I had butterflies in my tummy which made it difficult to fall asleep.

My mom brought me breakfast in bed along with a little green pouch that held my grandmother's diamond earrings.  The butterfiles were still there but I got ready and headed over to a friend's house for more food and "just us girls" fun.

After brunch mom took me to the hair salon.  They went right to work rolling my hair and putting on my makeup.  By this time I was getting hungry, the butterflies had prevented me from eating much at the party, so we stopped for a hamburger and took it with us.

When we arrived we needed to iron my dress just a little and I had to start putting my outfit on.  I forced myself to eat because I knew that chances were I wouldn't get another opportunity until much later that evening.

Next was a photo shoot and more pictures, and more pictures, and more pictures...

An hour later I took a little walk...

straight to the handsome young man who was waiting for me.

We've been walking together ever since.

Happy 15th Anniversary Sweetheart!  The Lord truly blessed me when He gave me you.
